To William Plumer, Jr. 1843 February 19 Letter.

Acknowledges receipt of volume of poetry written by Plumer and makes special note of its tribute to JCM Windship. May reflects on the merits of Windship and of the national influence [re: abolition?] he would have had if he had lived. May also relates a romantic attachment between his sister and Windship and how she never fully recovered from his death.
